DogPunks are 24x24 pixel dogs living on Ethereum, minted by trading $DPUNK. Every swap pays a 2% fee, donated in the same transaction to K9 Rescue, a UK charity running a no-kill, kennel-free sanctuary in West Wales. The token that feeds shelter dogs.

How it works
Trade
Swap ETH for $DPUNK on Uniswap v4. The token is its own pool hook: no router tricks, no tax on transfers, just a 2% fee on swaps.
Feed
The donation happens inside the swap itself: 2% of the ETH side is booked to the shelter, every time, whatever the trade size. Anyone can then push it out with one click. No treasury, no owner cut, no discretion.
Fetch
Your paid fees are credited to you. Each Ξ0.01 of cumulative fees mints you a DogPunk, a fully on-chain 24x24 pixel dog.
FAQ
Is this a charity?
No. It is a token with a 2% swap fee that can only be sent to a dog charity — K9 Rescue, a no-kill sanctuary in West Wales. You trade because you want to trade; the dogs eat either way.
Who decides when the shelter gets paid?
Nobody. Every swap books 2% of its ETH leg to the shelter on the spot, and anyone can press the button that pushes the balance out. A swap that skips the donation cannot exist.
How do I get a DogPunk?
Trade. Every Ξ0.01 of swap fees you pay mints you one, automatically, up to 3 per swap. If you are owed more, call fetchPunks() from the kennel.
Can the team redirect the fees?
No. There is no owner withdrawal and no treasury: the fees can only reach the shelter address. Changing that address takes a public 7-day announcement, so a redirect can never be slipped in front of a trade, and lockShelter() freezes it forever.
How many DogPunks will there be?
10,000, the CryptoPunks number, hard-capped in the contract. They cannot be bought, only earned by paying Ξ0.01 of fees to the shelter, so the day the last one is minted the shelter has been paid Ξ100. After that the fee keeps feeding the dogs and simply stops minting them.
Do DogPunks do anything?
Right now they are a receipt and a piece of on-chain art, nothing more. A capped set of holders who all paid real fees is a good base for more, and ideas are on the kennel page, but nothing is promised or scheduled.
Where do the images live?
On Ethereum. tokenURI() returns the full 24x24 SVG, generated and stored on-chain. No IPFS, no server, no rug on the art.
